Yes it is
Dont format anything or do anything. I will be home from work at 5 and will post the software I use.0 -
Use recuva (may help) http://www.recuva.com/
Or PC Inspector http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file_recovery/info.htm?language=1 (most likely to succeed)0 -
Thanks alot John.:cool:0

On the couple of occasions I've needed to recover photos, I've found PhotoRec (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec) to be about as good as any; it'll allow you to specify the types of file you're looking to recover and then recover everything that matches, where possible, to another drive of your choosing.
Do remember that the more times you've used the memory card following the deletion, the smaller the amount of data you're likely to recover.0 -
I do think it is recuva I use. I will double check when I get home.
Its a simpel to use programme. Plug card (or camera) into PC and then select the card and then ask it to recover files. Works on USB sticks as well and some external drives.0 -

Good evening all you helpful people, I've downloaded http://www.cardrecovery.com/ and its asking for a drive letter in step 1, I've selected removable drive, it asks again for a drive letter so I selected A: and then Z: I'm unsure what I'm supposed to put in at this point. I did a scan on both A: and Z: and came up with nothing found??? Any suggestions please???:cool:0
