Not sure what / who to go to ?

okay, my virgin 0% card is due to come to an end in march.
i also have a m&S card at 18.9%. i have thrown everything i can at it in recent months but it is still sitting with a 600 balance. Both these cards are in my name.

the only financial stuff that we have 'applied' for in the last year would be:
  • new mortgage package as our prev deal ended. stayed with same co, BUT switched deals.
  • asked m&s to increase my cr limit (after I asked them to decrease it a year ago) by £600, BUT THEY REFUSED. This was this month.
Incidentally I orginally had the M&S card, then BT to Virgin, and was suppose to get rid of M&S but things have been very difficult with a few emergency situations too (boiler went, emergency flight home for ill relative, DH lost a camera so needed to be replaced) so I have fallen into the classic trap .....

Anyhow, please can someone give me some suggestion on which way forward to go. I need to deal especially with the virgin cos if I start getting charged massive interest on that balance then I am dead

The mortgage application won't show as a search as you stayed with the same provider.
M&S may not be playing ball due to you decreasing the limit.

I would suggest (unless you have any adverse credit) simply applying for another 0% BT deal with another CC provider.

You will need to budget for higher minimum payments, because I assume you've been paying only the minimum of £25 per month whilst you were throwing everything else at the 18.9% M&S debt? The next card could be anything up to 3% per month.
DH lost a camera so needed to be replaced
"Needed"? Did it belong to someone else, or does he earn his living from photography?

belonged to bil and it was the 'right' thing to do.

Which companies are suggestions for the virgin card to bt to ??????

Also I haven't a hope of paying it off in less than a year so was wondering if should rather go for a life of balance card (if they are still around) ???
