I had an instant access SA with Leeds bs that was 6.55% but now its gone down to 4%. I have about 50K and want some other suggestions as to where it would be better off short to mid term.

Isn't 4% rather good now that rates across the board have gone down twice? Some accounts are down below 2% for standard instant access. And don't forget that some banks/BSs will not implement the 1% December Bank of Englad reduction untuil January 1st.0

Probably best to check fixed deals as interest rates are likely to fall further.
