Summer Work (experience at Law firm)

I remember my days of trying to apply for work exeperience and vacation schemes, they were a pain.
One thing, make sure you spend time on getting your CV / application form looking good. ALWAYS make sure (esp with the CV) it is tailored to the firm you are applying to.
If you are having problems getting work in a law firm, try getting general office experience. When you are a solicitor, you will be working in an office. Knowing the law is only part of what is expected of you, you will also be expected to understand how it is to work in an office environment."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
Sahun - don't let location limit you. If you can stay with friends and/or family in the relevant city, you should give it a go. So much in the law business is about problem solving and finding a way round. Sometimes, very determindedly so!!
Have PM'ed you some info.0 -
