Quetion re texting on mobile phone

I have a question re mobile phones, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask but... can anyone here tell me if when you try to send a text messge and you get a message back saying "make sure the no is correct, UK numbers start with 07" (as if I have dialled the wrong number yet I have DEFINITELY texted the right no, its in my phone book) & have texted this no a few times with no problem (they are the same network with a UK no), plus I can text other nos fine, so could this person be blocking me? I have tried a few times but the txt just isnt getting through.

    hmm.. odd one.. maybe the number is no longer active, or if it is only happening today, maybe the number is being transferred networks, and that can take 24 hours to get through..

    can't think of anything else really.. have you tried calling the number?
  • Thanks for the quick response! No I havent tried calling and I dont want to for personal reasons so I'm just trying to find out if they might have blocked me. I phoned Virgin and they said the no was still registered with them so presumably that means they cant be changing networks? Do you know if someone blocks you you get that msg? Thanks again.

    it's not something i've ever seen, normally it just goes into a black hole never to seen again.. what it could be is the person themselves sending you a message (some phones can be set to auto respond to texts!) so you think that it is incorrect.... sorry.. can't help any more..
