Have BG discontinued the early payment discount?

I've just received my gas & electricity bills, both from BG. The electricity one seems to have soared. :mad: I'd consider myself a low/careful user too. At least the gas bill was a bit lower than I'd feared. :j
Anyway, I'm waffling on when the question I wanted to ask relates to my gas bill. In the past there has been a bit of a discount for quick payment of the bill, but there is no mention of it on this particular bill. Does anybody know if they have discontinued this discount? I thought I'd ask here before running up my phone bill with a call to them quering this.

Yep, I called them when I saw it had been omitted from my most recent bill and then confirmed they had stopped crediting a prompt payment discount. I'm definitely switching suppliers now !0
