London to Brighton advance train tickets £3 single
Im going sale shopping. This is a great offer. I have just booked myself Brighton to London Victoria return for £3 each way (half that price for children). You do not need to come back the same day although you can if you like.
It's shown on the Southern & National Rail website, but I had a great deal of trouble using their internet booking service, so I'd recommend the www.NationalExpressEastCoast website as it worked best for me. They can post the tickets to you at no extra charge, and no booking fee.
Use London Victoria as the departure station rather than London (All) to find the cheapest fares. This offer is valid on Southern Trains only.

You can also buy them (in advance only) at stations.
For some strange reason most of the rail websites don't show them.0 -

The tickets can be bought at the station in advance. Just ask at Brighton station, they know the deal - its just not well publicised. There is no expiry date as far as I am aware, it will finish when the offer is discontinued.0
