Home contents insurance- subsidence?

Hi guys!
I've been looking at home contents insurance quotes for my rented home. On confused.com one of the terms is that your house or any in the surrounding area must not have been affected by subsidence. About 7 years ago the house next door was under pinned due to subsidence. Does this mean that if I had home contents insurance and I claimed due to a burglary my claim would be void because the house next door had subsidence or do they only ask that question in relation to building insurance?
Many thanks
