Hi
In the last few days i have been trying to connect my ds and wii to my router with fail.
Today i went into Netgear which is my router site and tried to disable security settings.
And due to the setting change my ds and wii and laptop now all works perfectly.
But i dont like to leave it disabled due to security.
Can anyone help me connect ds and wii using protected wi fi please.

UPDATE

What is the problem when you try to connect them ?
The DS only supports WEP so if you are using WPA security then that will be the problem for that but the Wii should just search for available networks, find yours then you enter the password and that's it.0 -
Don't know about wii but I can only connect my DS wirelessly using WEP encrytion (it doesn't support WPA).
WEP security is however only a very small step above nothing at all so I wouldn't recommend it but in the case of the DS you have no choice.0 -
I don't have Netgear, I have an orange Livebox and mine connects by pressing the pairing key on the back if I have any problems (WEP etc is already entered). But I had a little google, maybe this could help http://www.avforums.com/forums/wii/438120-connecting-wii-internet-netgear-dg834gt-wireless-router.html
