Sorry about that, I thought I had, It's just what came up, I'll have another look. Yeah sygate has gone, I uninstalled it then searched for any files relating to it. Do I also download threatfire?

Upto you. Its an anti virus 'add on'
very good, but could slow the computer down (though you could download and just use it as a secondary scanner if you wish)

Goto windows update and download and install WINDOWS SERVICE PACK 3
You only have 2 at the moment (Putting your computer at risk)

I'd also go to windows updates and get service pack 3 downloaded and installed, and make sure your java's up-to-date.......
