    Thank you.

I rang and got quotes for both February and March for Manchester to Orlando for the Independent 2 for 1 offer.

I then went on line with AA and got quotes for exactly the same flights/dates for 2 people.

In both case the AA web site was cheaper for 2 people than the 2 for 1 offer.

I then went back on the phone and questioned them(it is AA) about the 2 for 1 offer and he confirmed that it is often cheaper to book on line for 2 than use the 2 for 1 although there were some small savings on certain flights.

However if you do use the 2 for 1 offer you do not get airmiles, which is important for frequent flyers.

As usual I am afraid, this offer is not very attractive.

Remember if you fly with AA and have BA Exec club you DON'T get BA Miles on transatlantic AA flights (excluding the codeshared MAN-JFK flight - if flowin on a BA booking).

  • Well the BA online prices seem pretty good with the exec club discount...
