once the holiday is booked via the sun,all details are passed onto the particular company / site, and confirmation comes from them

so its not the suns "fault" how quick or slow the confirmations are in being sent out

just a case of waiting

could try phoing the site direct,but they may not have record of the booking yet if its not been processed

We are hopefully booked (online) for weekend of 13th Feb but had no confirmation yet. Think I had better start chasing them by the end of the week!!
My mum has had confirmation for hers booked for easter for over a week now!!

if you had email confirmation it should be fine

18th May, Golden Sands in Dawlish.

I spoke to them earlier and apparently they're still waiting for the details to be sent to them from The Sun which could be any day now.

She also said that people mostly get put into the bronze caravans or chalets and can upgrade to a silver for £30 or gold for £50.

What about you? when/where are you off to?

Weve not had any confirmation yet ... and weve asked for end of april and may dates! ..
Cheque hasnt been cashed yet either .. hope we get a holiday!

Funny enough we're also off to Dawlish, but we're going to Dawlish Sands Holiday park, as we've visited before. We're going April 13 bank holiday Monday. I'm not interested in upgrading as when we visited Dawlish Sands HP before we had basic accom and it was fine. But I am considering extending the hol by one night so we come home on the Saturday. This is something we've done before but it varies from park to park and of course depends on availibility. Will also depend on how much they'll charge us for this too.
