  • just to let you all know after realising how popular these sun trips are - park resorts have dirt cheap mon - fri trips for those of you who want easter, i just booked 3 bed van isle of wight 6-10 April (1st week easter hols) for £117 with free ferry!

their caravans tend to be a bit shabby but the parks are good and entertainment great! Most of the parks are on the sun offer anyway, and by the time you pay £9.50 each plus entertainment and ferry it's not much less than this.

hope this helps someone - can someone take my name off the list for an online booking?
  • PS i don't work for them or anything - there are other holiday companies too just in case I get accused of anything lol! Just wanted to share a good deal!

I'd like to say publicly a really big thank you to the thread starter (Kateo) and all the lovely people who have shared their priority codes for free. I too hope that none of those people fortunate enough to receive a code via this list have then gone on to sell them on eBay.

We've previously holidayed on 'The Sun' and had really good times too and been lucky enough to receive priority forms, then times got really hard and we couldn't even afford a Sun break. Thankfully we got out of debt last April and are enjoying life again now and busy planning a holiday next year as a treat. I had hoped to get a priority code for this year, but the list is so long I know that's not realistically possible now! :D We'll keep saving and look forward to a break next year - as I very stupidly mis-understood the online booking (forgot that we didn't have a priority code and didn't buy the paper for the tokens - how stupid was that!) and it's not worth starting to save now.

Anyway I was just supposed to be writing a thank you for all the lovely MSE'er so I'll shut up now and enjoy your breaks.

It is still worth saving them if you download the online token and add it to your collection, you only need 9 more, and as long as you are not too fussed for dates, it is still well worth it in my opinion. Good luck. x:p

Booked May 29th at Devon Cliffs !! Will Cost £56.97 with service charge, not fussed about entertainment passes.

Booked Haven Perren Sands last year, what a disaster that was - NOBODY GO THERE, Its a dive !! We were presented with a Mouldy, damp infested pre-war shack! Came home early, and had the best nights sleep of our lives in our own beds!

Heard Devon Cliffs is very nice, so looking forward to this trip!

Devon Cliffs is nice, but its vast and very hilly which goes against it IMO

I'm sure you will have a good time, i wouldn't go again just because its too large for me, but the facilities and entertainment was very good, apart from the usual Haven money grabbing techniques :rotfl:

You can see inthe pic how big it is, cant remember how many caravans are there but its over 1000

I too found Devon Cliffs far to busy for me and commercialised i had had enough after 1 day it was too hustley and bustley i could not believe how many caravans they had on site - my father was thinking of buying a caravan on this site however we persuaded him not to - plenty to do etc however it was hard to get a seat at the evening entertainment in June 2008 not school holidays however it was heaving with children.
