I don't know for certain but that quote above from the Sun website may relate to the people sending in a paper application and sending actual tokens? Looking at http://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/ it's now saying:
This booking site will now open on Sunday, 11th January 2009
(please note that only one bonus token code word can be used)

So it appears that just the one 'bonus' code can be used (either Saturday's starter one or the internet one I guess?) This would make sense as it would mean waiting for Sundays NOTW code before having enough codes and would fit in with the day the site goes 'live'.

Of course I'm only guessing like all of us are but it seems logical to me?!

So if that is the case then it won't matter if the site goes live early on Saturday, as the key factor will be what time your local newsagent opens on Sunday (or how quickly someone posts the code online;) )

Good luck to all of you with your choices when it does go live

    DM

oh, that bit abit one bonus code on the website is new, was not there 2 days ago, so looks like a sprint to my nearest newsagent in the morning then, lol
Take every day as it comes!!
  • Im getting really confused now (tho it doesnt take much ) but this is what its says on the booking site

    UN HOLIDAYS FROM £9.50

So does that mean we cant use the online token word and the bonus word out of the paper? and if not, out of the list of words we have which words are which? does anyone know?

Is there a thread for chatting about what the different sites are like, or can I ask on here?

If we can't get butlins my husband wants to go to great yarmouth - any suggestions? We'd like somewhere with a good swimming pool ideally, and a play park.

We went to haven's caister on sea park a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It was close enough to go in to G yarmouth every day. We didnt use the pool so i can speak for that but the site was really clean and right on the beach front. It had a nice park and play area with the outdoor trampolines etc.

Can anyone who's been to butlins with these holidays before give me any idea of how much it is to upgrade to silver accomodation usually?

I'm looking online and for the sun holiday (with charges and £40 linen) its £120 basic and direct with butlins is £150 in silver.

I'm tempted to go directly with butlins??? any experience welcome.

  • We have 6 'proper' codes, and two bonus codes.

Tomorrows should be the 7th 'proper' one, and that, along with one of the bonus codes, will make the 8 that you need

sorry to be pain but could you please list what are the 6 proper codes and which 2 are bonus
