Hi I have two questions I wonder if anyone can help me with. First is more of a price issue. We havea computer still on Windows XP and are looking for a cheap but reliable Flatscreen monitor to give alittle more room for our girls. Any suggestions?
Also we are considering getting a DVD recorder and do not want to spend the earth. We currently have sky, and are unsure if just to get a recorder or upgrade to Sky+. I guess if we went through Sky+ we could go for one that writes to DVD's instead of a hard drive. What do others think?
Thanks

There have been some deals posted on HotDeals UK:
£70+P&P for 19" widescreen:

(for me the resolution of 1440x900 is a bit low)
£113 for 22" widescreen

or if you are willing to accept what appears to be an ex-display model, then this is from Dabs:
£98+P&P for 22" widescreen

I did buy a DVD and hard-drive recorder when they were fairly new. After several years use, I think I have only burned 2 discs, whereas I use the hard drive recorder all the time. If you are committed to Sky+ then I would try this at first without getting a DVD recorder at all.0 -
