If I was you, I'd pop a cheapie single (or the old duvet) under the sheet. It really helps keep in the warmth like nothing else! I also recommend "duvet slippers" which I got for christmas from john lewis. I've worn them in bed and they are warm and comfy and stop fidget-bottoms like me from getting freezing cold feet after wiggling them out from under the duvet!0
