    milliemonster & hippey,

Depending on what happened between 26th August and last week, the OP may be reimbursed (either immediately or following legal action) by either (not both) of his card providers for the full £11,500. It's irrelevant that £11,000 of it was paid by debit card.

See my link in post #2.

Yes, agreed. BUT like you said, it depends on what has happened, in my experiance on this type of thing, a lot of questions will be asked about the delay, the retailer accepting 3 cards for the one transaction, and who will be liable. That is why I said it looks a problem.

But if the car is fully paid for before the admins date then the car is legally his and can be released subject to proof of sale.
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!

    To the OP

I forgot to add, you must have proof this car is on site (or the companys property) and proof from someone in the company that the value has been paid in full and this has to be signed, this must be before the administration date (makes it easy).

There is no reason why fleet cars run out of registrations. There are issues about dealer funding for new vehicles, and how many are put in each month, but most dealers like to bring them forward and get you to have the car a soon as it's in. Often the quicker a vehicle is registered the more profit is made.

I think this vehicle does'nt exist as the dealer keeps putting you off, therefore your claim is either via your credit cards, or the courts (or both seems likely) my first port of call is to find out if this car is within the company, this will help with what to do next.
