You'll need a wireless bridge for the Xbox. There is an official one available, but it's £55. That'll allow you to connect to your router wirelessly.

Xbox Live is included on the Xbox, it's one of the sections on the X360's dashboard. You get a "Silver" live account for free, which is restrcited. To upgrade to Gold costs, although I can't remember how much. It's about £35 for a year.

Also, in signing up for the "Silver" account you should get 1 months free trial membership to the "Gold" account. That's what I'm using at the moment.
