Don't know when the MOT is due!
Stupid I know, but have lost the mot certificate for the car:o Please is anyone able to tell me if there is a database (DVLA maybe?) that I can check on? I don't know which garage did the test as have only owned it for a few months AND it was a private sale AND the previous owner has moved!

Not necessarily. A vehicle may have been kept off the road without and MOT for a while or it was done early or late because of work needing to be done. Basically there are many reasons an MOT can be different from the registration date.
Mine is the month before the registration anniversary date. I booked my MOT more than 30 days before the due date and was unable to add to the existing MOT.:o£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

If you are really concerned, why not MOT it yourself and then you will know the due date.
Better to have an MOT before its due than get caught without one0 -
