We've used Insureandgo.com for the past 2 years, who seem very reasonable. They offer policies with three different levels of cover, with the benefits you get clearly spelt out on screen before you choose.

We paid £70 for an annual multi-trip policy covering European destinations for 2 adults and 3 kids (13, 11 & 4).

Fortunately, we have not had to make a claim with them yet, which is where I guess the real qualitites of an insurance company (or lack of) show up.

    Their website is https://www.insureandgo.com

thanks, they are definitely the cheapest so far coming in at £29.22. the problem i seem to keep coming across is you cannot put more than 2 adults on a family quote and my eldest is 19 and then when you apply for group the prices seem to get higher.....

A lot of my friends say they go to Tesco and buy an insurance pack off the shelf. I have no idea if it's cheaper, but it seems popular

The price is for the family for the trip. Not per day !!

we always use the post office insurance. just pick up a leaflet at the PO and pay over the counter. very good rates for single or multiple trips.

we had to make a claim last year and they were very quick to settle .they even accepted the stolen baggage claim despite the fact we had no police report or other evidence from the egyptian authorities

they were pretty generous with the payout too... :j

they are part of the fortis group and claim form filling was minimal

    worth looking at...

    hope that helps

I have just been the USA and had to have medical treatment. Whilst I will be claiming on my travel insurance, does anyone know if you can also claim on your credit card insurance. Basically, can you claim on both policies or only one?
