Windows Media Playerr 11

Can anyone help please? I've got a new Sony Walkman digital media player, but can't transfer music to it. I've downloaded Media manager but it needs WM Player 11. I've tried installing from the disc and downloading from various sites including the Windows site but it crashes every time. There's a message that says WMP has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Try this
To resolve this issue, register the correct Wmpui.dll file again:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK:regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\wmpui.dll
   You receive a message that is similar to: DllRegisterServer in C:\WINNT\system32\wmpui.dll succeeded.
3. Click OK, and then start Windows Media Player again.

To resolve this problem, reregister the Jscript.dll and Vbscript.dll files. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 jscript.dll, and then click OK.
2. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 vbscript.dll, and then click OK.

Thanks Thomas, tried that but it still won't install. Does anyone know of any other software I can use to transfer my music?

Thanks, Thomas I've managed to copy and paste some albums on the My Computer page. I'll try your advice. You'll have gathered I'm not that Technical.

Thomas, or anyone, Media Monkey now stopped working. I'm managing to transfer from My Computer, but not from MM. The Walkman is plugged in and synchronised. Its recognised. I select a file to transfer, click on the " send to portable device" It says sending selected tracks but they don't transfer.
