Pls help
Little knowledge as just moved to digital camera.
Scenario - Pictures taken, downloaded to computer, prints selected and Tesco Photo print site used.
However want printed photos as 6 x 4. When i've downloaded my photo, using tesco site, they appear with a 6 x 4 top and bottom green line. I can move this line up and down over the downloaded picture.
When i received my photo, the picture was cropped losing the right hand side. I hoped tescos wouldprint the picture to a size of 6 x 4 requested but i now have a picture with 2.5 of my kids showing !!!!
How do i get the downloaded size to reflect 6 x 4 ?? Picasso3 was recommended by friend, but that just smartens the pics up, it doesn't shrink them ??
Any help much appreciated.

It is better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared

Picasa can crop/resize your pictures for you, its free so what have you got to lose?
You could pop down to your local Tescos and get the prints done there. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
It's because 35mm film had an aspect ratio of 3-2
A digicam generally has a ratio of 4-3 so will print better on 6 x 4.5" paper such as at photobox.com
If you have a digi image they will either need to be cropped to size or a blank border added...0
