Evening all, Happy New Year! toni your round up was great.
I'm still nursing my hang over although i'm a bit concerned because i only had four drinks, then passed out asleep on the bed (missed midnight and everything) was woken up four hours later and was still absolutley mashed, really hyped up and generally drunk. it's really out of character as it normally takes a lot more to get me drunk and i have huge memory blackouts. So i'm thinking maybe someone messed with my drink, the bits i can remember were good though!
Hope everyone had a lovely night ... looking forwrad to a few winsIt Will Be Mine in 2009 - Member 1001. *[STRIKE]Holiday/Acomodation[/STRIKE]*Shoes or Handbag*Vouchers*Please ask me if I'm getting my moneys worth from the gym!0 -

Tips for Easter....
1. See if school do a second hand uniform shop - if not, suggest that they do...:p our school charges max of £3 for a logo'd sweatshirt, most stuff is £1 or £2.
2. Charity shops and car boots are also good hunting grounds - as long as you can resist a 'bargain' at any cost.....:D - some of the charity shops have strange ideas on pricing:rolleyes: .. Most of DDs wardrobes were pre-owned/sales buys;) - and once they've outgrown it either ebay or carboot it.
3. check out the oldstyle board - you'd be surprised how much you can stretch out the relatively expensive ingredients with cheaper/healthier ingredients - and there's always some good ideas on how to use up stuff that's nearing use by dates.
4. check out the christmas/special occasions board - most of our Christmas this year was homemade/good second hand/competition wins - and I enjoyed it far more. Am already planning what to make in advance for next Christmas - as I ran out of time to do everything I wanted....:o
5. Join your local freecycle.
(sorry if you're already doing all this)

easter, every week starting today actually i put £5 on my sainsburys stamp card, so with every shop i do i budget a fiver for my xmas food, so thats roughly 20 amonth some months with the extra week its 25 quid, so by december i have £250 ish for my food shop.
most supermarkets do it even tescos, so uc ould end up with a chunk to use for pressies if u do it right.
often i use the luncheon vouchers i get from the survey firm we cant mention and use those to buy the xmas stamps.
hth xxx
i also have a xmas cupboard which i put things in all year xxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Brill thanks essexgal......Without sounding awful...We only have my brother on my side and his wife and son...Johns side dad and uncle...We tell everyone NOT to buy for us or kids at xmas because of money and also my brother lost his job september so they are having a tough time also...We cant afford pressies for others. We dont even buy for each other as the kids are so important and its not a time for us but them...And its not fair as we have 5 kids and brother only has 1......Will also check the christmas board...Cheers..;)Best Competition Wins-Brand New Vauxhall Corsa & £30000
