Night all, I'm gonna call it a night now... the rabbits want putting to bed and then I do! I can't stop sneezing tonight I'm getting another cold I reckon - only just got over the last one! So I'm gonna watch shooting stars and graham norton from under the duvet.

Congratulations demented - i did not plan my 3rd child and was very shocked at first but I would not be without her now.

hamster has finally stopped making a noise think it has gone back to sleep.

I am drinking pear cider at the moment - very nice.

Folks, I have a quick question.

If you won a prize, then a Google Alert showed you were mentioned on another website for winning & those people were being very rude about you....

• Tried to join to complain by PM to mods & join request goes unanswered
• Tried to find a way on the site to email someone to request they remove posts as they do go against their published member 'rules' for posting but the only email addy I can find bounces back to me.
• Comp was posted on their forum by someone from the actual site the advent comp was run on so I tried sending an email to the advent site explaining the situation & asking them to PM some text to the mods on the site they are a member of, but not heard anything back
• Tried to complain to the domain (possibly also hosting) provider, but no response to my email.

Been twiddling my thumbs now for about 2 weeks as I can't think of anything else to try

Anyone got any other ideas I can try please as I really don't like what they wrote about me

Velvetglove that's awful! :mad: Don't know what to advise. Maybe keep trying to contact the site that actually ran the comp. The staff may be on holiday still for xmas / new year so maybe that's why they haven't responded.

OMG some right nasties out there VG!! Jealousy is a horrible thing, very negative and caustic If you were able to tell us, by pm, of course what the site was and enough of us tried to join, then someone would be accepted surely. Could be a way to give you a voice on there directly at the nasties? Just a thought

VG - Thats horrible. This site is so nice, its sad to know there are not so nice sites out there. I was about to suggest the same as TMK, get someone else to join and they could try the BGs for that forum.
