Done lots of this stuff in the past. 30 years ago ( I KNOW) Christmas day row,3 littluns, searching streets for OH, found him in cemetry wi his dad. These things make us stronger. Also Nephew has wife, 3 kids, 17, 12, 9. Wife Alcohol probs, believe Schitzophrenic, Arrested B4, Assault, done D Driving wi kids, this week arrested Tried to burn house down, clothes on cooker, not 1st time. . Nephew, scarede to kick her out in case she kills heself. Poor kids. 17yr old had cancer at 3yrs old, has artificial leg. Last Xmas she hit him and he fell into Xmas tree. Arested then but no one does anything, she still gets away wi it.

hey rcb,
my gorgeous dd went to play with the angels 2 years ago and today I had a letter asking why I had not enrolled her in school yet !!!!!
Apparently i could be facing prosocution !!!
was given a number to phone but know that i would loose the plot with the wrong person ( it is never the person on the end of the phones fault)
OK RANT FINISHED !!!!
really sorry to anyone who read that just have no one else to tell.
From reading through posts I guess you will all be ok with my rants. So thanks in advance and just ignore me!!!!

Rants, moans, whinges, laughs, long stories, embarrassing moments - bring them on! We're all here for each other.

So sorry to hear about your dd. The letter was totally insensitive - you would think records would be more up to date than that. You are right that it is unlikely to be the person on the end of the phone's fault, but you do need to get that record corrected or this could happen again. I'm sure you know that already though.

Here for you as I am for anyone in the inn.

Aww, Kt, That letter is such an unfortunate thing to happen to you and losing your DD must have been terrible. I think it's a good thing that you didn't call straight away, could you ask a relative or friend to phone on your behalf, they could even pretend to be you ... the person on the end of the phone isn't going to know its not your voice, I'm sure as soon as someone explains, it will all get sorted, seems like a lack of communication between whoever deals with these things

The inn is juts made for ranting and getting things of your chest - booze, normally Vodka, comfy seats and a cosy fire oh and people always around with a smile for you!

KT - really feel for you having to cope with that aswell as the horrid letter - obviously a lack of communication somewhere. :mad:

But you're right - maybe even write a letter rather than phone if you feel it would be a better way to get through it.

Came back from asda petrol station, watch celeb big bro, and came on here to catchup on everything i've missed!!

ktflosspot - I used to lurk too, but since coming on here, I haven't looked back! Everyones soooo kind and helpful, like real (virtual) friends!! ((hugs))

Talk away about your problem...after all its good to get things off your chest...and a problem shared is a problem halved!!

Thing you've had your share of bad luck, so good luck must just be waiting around the corner!!!
Make sure she gets the help she needs...maybe get sectioned, as shes a danger to herself and others?!?!?!?!
She'l thank you for it when shes better!!!
