I will be out for the first time in 6yrs - I get a bit panicked going to new places so I'm a bit apprehensive at the mo' - I'm sure 6 or 7 Vodka's will get me more in the mood!!

My sister is organising a party at church so we're going to that. Hope it's good! Apparently it'll be really informal - there will be a wii, a kareoke machine, some other games etc and lots of party food.

Same for me, never really celebrated. I am normally asleep before the clock strikes 12 lol

I wish I was staying in but OH has got us tickets to go out with our friends :rolleyes: just can't be bothered, have never really had a good NYE when on a night out

Have cut 5 inches off his hair now so he just has a 9 inch mohican to work with :rotfl:

The food sounds good but I don't do karaoke!! Ha ha! She just text to say someone is taking their wii dance mat thing so I'll have a go on that!

I might go a bit mad this year and let my hair down.....I might start Cross stitching at 11.55 and finish at 12.01..:eek:...wow cross stitch from one year to the next

we are not going out, just comping, tv, drink and probably be in bed by 11pm, so we will be sad together:beer:

Blimey Easter, I soooooo know how you feel. I came in to post similar. Isn't life !!!!!!... I'd much rather not see the new year in, looks to be even worse than the last one... kids want to though and I don't want to let them down.
2009 looks to be the year I'll lose my dear dad...just a matter of time I think. I tried hard to make Christmas good for my lot too, but was so hard... with dad being so poorly he and mum didn't make it round. I hate life...
