The pork hot pot was fab. Really easy to make too but did take an hour and a half in the oven. Had it with jacket pots. Been good today. Had small bowl cereal for brekkie, soup and roll for lunch, hotpot and jacket pot followed by small piece cheesecake for dinner, plus 2 apples for snacks (1 morning and 1 afternoon). Just went into lounge to look at chocs, thought I might treat myself, but came back as didn't fancy one - too full!!! :):):):):)

Not doing cardio today, ran yesterday and don't want to hurt myself this soon into the new regime... every other day will be enough for now. Will do some situps and squats using my gym ball later and then have a bath.

    sorry about the rabbitt wokkies.

dd1 & dd2 gone up to bed, but I don't think dd2 is going to settle as she is getting worried about school tomorrow (first day back). She cries every day when I drop her off, she normally stands with the teacher at the door until everyone has gone in then teacher takes her up to class. Not looking forward to the morning.

Finally finished huuugggeee pile of ironing!!! :D:D
They had all come from the drier and some, especially all the jeans were creased!!

Don't ask...lectured my mom loads about not using unnecessary things like driers that just cost too much money and energy...but she just says when your in your own house you can choose what to use and what not to use! Until then...your under my roof...so you live with it!

Its not like i'm saying anything bad, but she always gives me that lecture when she doesn't wanna take my good advice!

Bella - Some of the clothes are badly creased, because my sisters just stuff their clothes in the washing machine!
I say that...I always iron my clothes when i'm going to wear them, or go somewhere! But everyone-else in family wants clothes ironed even if they're not going to wear them!

Splodz - Just read your post now...and i did do that...Folded all the pillow cases and duvet covers into a small rectangle/square and quickly glided iron over it, so it looks smooth!

Thought i'd stray over and have a read of whats going on.

Ahh this sounds so familiar, parents came to stay last week and left lights, telly and everything else turned on. Got a bit sarky when i went round turning things off when they left the room. :D

When i go to them and turn off telly and lights and give good advice on saving gas and electric i get " Do what you want in your place but when in ours we do what we want" "

Dare not mention water saving that just lights the touch paper ( I'm on a meter and their not)

As for the ironing, only do the essentials and i also do as Splodz suggests:D
    Thoughts:

The surest sign that there is intelligent life in the universe is that they haven't contacted us yet:D

If you dry your linen over the bannister it dries with no creases anyway. I don't have a dryer so all my stuff gets done on an airer. I hang the shirts to dry and they hardly need any ironing either.

I'm lucky my house is fairly new and very well insulated - don't need a lot of heating normally, but at the moment it is on all the time coz of the horrid temperatures outside!
