Before I forget again (have no brain today it seems!) just wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who looked into or tried to join the forum that had said nasty things just 'cos I was a girl & had won a computer game. It does indeed look as if the whole thread has been moved/removed so within a couple of weeks that stuff should slip from a Google search & be gone forever *hopes*

Don't know what prompted it, whether the Domain Provider stepped in or the comp running site actually tried to sort it for me or someone on here managed to actually join the darn site & pm the mods - but whatever sorted it - thanks


Also, catz, saw the info about being able to see you fb page as someone else would see it. Tried it out earlier & it really is quite different, was surprised - so thanks for sharing that tit bit

My baby DS is poorly!! Got a temp of 38.1 bless him!! He's got a cool compress on his head, light clothing, had some calpol and I'm just waiting an hour whilst he's dosing so I can check his temp again. If it doesn't go down, I won't be in work tomorrow!

I have seen quite afew compers write things in their posts, and then it looks like they have literally put a line through it...but it isn't real, i know its done by computer magic.
Would love to know how to do this.

Could be useful whe you actually win on of the prizes in the "this will be mine 2009" challenge. You could actually put a line through it, until you have hopefully won and put a line through all 4 prizes!!

Hope you can understand this, as i can't really explain it properly...might have something to do with being very tired and struggling to keep eyes open!!!

Well what can i say...comping is really addictive...don't have enoughhours in the day for it!! :rotfl:

Am still waiting to win any prize to compensate for my lack of sleep...even though its really my fault for staying up!!!

Hey Sally - if you go to 'Go Advanced' here at the bottom of this box, there is a box with an S in it that has been crossed out.
Click the box and then write what you want to inside it....[STRIKE]like this![/STRIKE] HTH!!

DS is still poorly - I was meant to be working today - don't think I will! Dr Gert diaognoses tonsilitus!! Bless him!

Morning TMK!

I'm not in work - my mum was meant to be having the kids whilst me and OH were working but DS is still poorly. He's just sat on the sofa watching TV and not speaking - anyother time, I'd be jumping for joy!!! DD is walkign around chatting on a pretend phone!! So funny - 'Your DS's girlfriend?...eeerrrrrrr, he's a stinky!!' Seriously - where do they get this stuff from!

Last night DD2 was talking about "landing pants" and we finally sussed it was a helicopter landing pad on DS4's garage she was talking about, but she's the one that was looking for a terrible giraffe at the window :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But she'd have to go some to beat my niece who, at the age of 4, came out of the bathroom, starkers, and marched into the livingroom with a brillo pad covering her "front bottom" and said "this is what mummy looks like when she takes a bath". Wouldn't have been too bad but sis was having friends over for dinner!!! :eek::eek::eek:
