Setting up Outlook account with Hotmail address

I have decided to take he leap and want to start using Outlook but have a current Hotmail account.

I have tried to create it and forward my Hotmail to Outlook but it requests Incoming and Outgoing mail server details.
Does anyone know what these are and how I can obtain them?

If your account is older than 2000 then simply putting in the address in outlook will retrieve the emails or else as MX5huggy pointed out, you need to install outlook connector to be able to download message from hotmail into outlook.

windows live mail is what you need (for vista at least) seems to work with hotmail accounts pre 2000 and as new as last year!
