Flight Refund

Hi there, I am pretty ignorant when it comes to credit cards and what my rights are. I've read about the section 75 stuff etc. But I want to just refund my flight despite nothing going wrong , I booked it with Virgin Atlantic on a credit card and wondered if it is possible to refund due to the fact it was booked with a credit card? Thanks

Section 75 is only there if the Airline really goes bust or they do not provide you with the goods you've paid for.

If you want to refund the flight, then you need to discuss with the company you booked it with and/or look at the terms of the transaction as you might have booked a non-refundable flight.

Assuming the flight is non-refundable / discounted fare then no.
  • If Virgin fly within 5 hours of the advertised slot, then no refund is due...
