This gets asked all time, either Topfield or Humax companies are the best ones to go for

There is also freesat (not sky) but uses the sky dish0 -
It also depends on your budget. I've got a Sony one, it cost quite a bit, but got a large hard drive and dvd recorder/player too.My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

Freeview+ has just been released (rebranded actually) starting from £79.99 but for your budget you can get a good one with a large hard disk and free setanta for 9 months.

I would recommend a Humax PVR box i have the 9200t and its a cracking piece of kit, and i would say if your going for a PVR spend that little extra and get a topfield or humax. And definitely dont get a thomson as the parent have one of these with top up tv and the number of times its been replaced and the screen freezes is shocking0
