26 inch Television Dilemma

What shall I do? I don't need a new telly but I notice that 26 inch ones are becoming scarce. I live in an old cottage and anything more than a 26 inch will look ridiculous, and just simply not fit. It would seem that TVs are dividing into two groups: up to 19 inch and 32 plus. I want to future proof my viewing (already got my PVR, want a 1080p TV)) but size is soooo important to me. Any advice?

If your screen size is less than about 37inch then 1080p is a waste of money as you won't see any difference. 26" is a standard screen size so I suggest you look at one with a narrow profile.
