  • Slumped in front of the 'puter trying to catch up with you all.

Mixed day. Went into town this morning, got birthday cards for Jan, had a look round M&S sale, didn't see anything I wanted but did get some treats in food hall for New Year. Came home, scoffed a sarnie and went back (with the book tokens I found last week) So I now have two more books - bill came to £35.99, I paid £5.99 :T

Then into Lakeland - got five potential presents - all in the sale and two boxes of ginger sweets for me, also in sale. So on balance probably should count as a successful day.

Trying to set up the budget for January and I just realised I've not had my housing benefit OR my CSA payments yet this month  No wonder my overdraft is looking massive.:mad: I am NOT impressed. That's over £500 not gone into my account :mad: I just hope they go in soon otherwise I'm not going to be doing very well for the January budget - £150 in bills alone are due out on the 2nd :mad:

Removed dry washing from radiators and folded them.
Began to put wet ones out.
Friend turned up to use internte.
    Quickly decuttered LR floor.

Every one up now so off to do dinner. I will do more catching up on tasks from the list.

Thanks to all who HHC with me today. It made the time fly and the work seem fun. Hope to be on later when DH shifts from the pc.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Sorry :o:o:o. Lol DS has his moments, but am sooooo happy he does sleep well. Hugs to you when you need them, how old is Sarah ?
    x

    She is 8 months old.

Know alot of it is cos we dont have a routine yet.. but its hard as OH works shifts and mixes of days and nights.. i have tried to get her into one... starting about 6:30pm we have cuddles, pjs, bottle and then bed but all it takes is for her to see/hear him coming in from work if shes not asleep by about 8:20pm when he gets in and thats her for the night wide awake and wanting to play!! And on his days off she never wants to go to bed...even if we've tired her out in the day.. she will fight it just so she sees daddy!

Problem is when hes on nights the first night shes a horror, second she is just a pain... 3rd night i usually get her to settle ok by about 10pm .. and then the 4th night about 9pm.. then OH is off and were back to square one!! Short of making him move out or change jobs i dont know what else to do?!!... :rotfl: :rotfl:
