Off downstairs to turn on the heating, get a hot drink and one of my mincemeat flapjack things to go with it. I'm getting cold here clicking on thanks buttons. Just done some for serena.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    [STRIKE]shower
    get dressed!!
    reboot laundry
    load DW
hoover upstairs (OH said he'd do it yesterday but ironed instead so I can't complain really)
declutter and properly clean bathroom (eeep! could take some time)
    tidy bedroom (not too bad)
[/STRIKE]tidy spare room (also not too bad- but has large pile of ironing in it to put away)
put Christmas decs back in garage and tidy up a bit (too cold to be out there long)
declutter vaccum and wash car (yuck hate this job but know that the local car wash is frozen solid)
    check planning for tomorrow
get ready for tomorrow's back to work
re-plan menus for the week (Aldi did not have any chicken :( )
[STRIKE]slice up banana cake and freeze
    [/STRIKE]

have also cleaned the cooker:eek:
    washed the bathroom floor
emptied and washed the compost caddy

oh and my heating has gone pop so am no trying to conserve heat!!- sadly that also means I have no hot water either :(
luckily MIL and FIL live next door, have rung the gas/plumber person and waiting for a call back, also a friend over the road has offered the loan of his 2 electric fan heaters so we wont quite freeze....

it does mean I have lost the impetus to clean etc etc hey ho not much fun cleaning stuff in cold water!!!! and as I havd Raynauds in my fingers putting them in cold water for more than a minute or two is not a good plan

off to huddle round a fan heater and drink hot drinks

hopefully gas/plumber man will come today and if not then tomorrow
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Afternoon all

Thank you for the good wishes yesterday, I have no idea why I was so angry it just came over me in a wave. Hormones I suppose. Still feel a bit iffy today but nowhere near as bad as last night.

two loads of washing done, hung out, frozen, cracked off the line and brought back in. Something fell for a while, something white but not big enough to be snow but I think that's stopped now.

Otherwise not much done. Roast dinner and Christmas pudding after. Just pottering.

    Off to catch up.
