keep up the good work flyladies, i'm hoping to find some motivation and do something tomorrow, AF willing.....0 -
Gryfon your list of thanked posts should look much better now. Pigpen I found a couple more for you too.
Thank you to everyone who's been finding mine to thank too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Good luck with that pgipen. I know I should get rid of some of the clothes which don't fit the children, but apart from ones I really couldn't see them in they're all being sorted and packed away...just in case I have one more
All the special clothes I've also packed and put aside as some things I just really can't get shot of even if the children can't/won't wear them.
I've just moved three huge planks which have been bugging me for ages as one had fallen onto some of my plants. Just stuck them down the side of the house which probably isn't the best place but they're out of my way. Mr G was complaining before that I'd put all the wood which needs chopping for the fire in front of the shed door (well it's not really in front). I told him it's so he actually gets around to chopping itLast time it was there for at least a month on the driveway before I got out and started dealing with it...then he joined in

DD has just come home with another book  She's just spent all but 11p of her Xmas/pocketmoney on a book about Egypt, which is the topic she was doing last term in school  Most kids would spend their money on sweets, toys or comics, but not DD it would seem :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh well...off to write a webpage about Microblogging (aka status updates on Facebook apparently :rotfl: ) :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Prynhawn da, everyone (still practising.:o)
Oooh! Someone's found 5 of my posts! :T
I've been sort of flying today, as well as nipping to Lidl's for my bread flour. Any recommendations for dried milk? I usually get Sainsbury's basics brand.
I've done my usual dailies, but also:
1 full washload, and drying load (planning to iron this evening)
1 handwash of special Christmas cloths, which are now hanging up to dry
Washed out and refilled bird feeders
Cleared the Hotspot that is my chair in the bedroom, and generally tidied the room so it's easier to clean
Did a HHC with DS in his bedroom (bless him, he does try, but gets so weary)
Just starting catching up on thread, but am now going to do another HHC woth DS of anyone wants to join in.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

hello lozzie and methekidsandthecat and welcome to the thread - it looks like you have made a great start already !!
A new thread is starts this evening via a link from this thread so keep a watch on here later and dive in!
Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!
A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.
Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children OH's!!!!
Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!
Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.
POst what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!
The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane! We dont bite - well most of us dont -have fun!!
welcome to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!
