Pigpen - that's good news about your little cousin, but yet more vibes flying to Germany for him.

froddy - do you think so? I'd return the favour - honestly!

I'd think so, especially as I'm guessing there's no ice on your car right now and you don't need thermals on when you go out :p I sure people could be persuaded to do a bit of housework in exchange for a few [STRIKE]days [/STRIKE]weeks ;) in NZ!!

pollybear - hugs - hope you are ok

serena - Congrats to your brother and future SiL :D I'll be doing [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE]most of my planning tomorrow too :o

I'm still confused about the post thing...are you going mad or is it a new challenge? I think it's probably madness my dears!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We've been saving for a dvd recorder (mainly to put cinecamera footage onto disc). Today my dad gave me a cheque for one for my 40th (he was going to buy me vouchers for cinema but is worried they could be worthless if cinema closes). I'm so tempted to use it to pay CC but I know he's excited about me buying something for me. Very kind of him. Apparently they have the freeview built into them so that sorts out whether or not to go digital or now. Now I just need to get over spending money on me - I can put the money we'd saved towards one towards the CC though :D xx

Serena, that is lovely news about your brother

Polly, hugs honey, hormones I expect - that's what I always put anger down to (well unless there is a child or husband in the room)

Just going to set another wash going, find woody who is nowhere to be seen (bet he is in bed with a child) and then head off to bed. Sleep tight x

Justamum - sorry to hear you are still suffering with it. You kow where we all are though (((hugs)))
And yes it is used for neuralgia, my Dad has been on it on and off and finds he is just useless when on it. I was on a low dose but still had side effects.

pigpen - what did you get DS2 for his birthday then ? What do 13 yo boys want/need ??? I am dreading teenage years LOL

lil_me just read a bit more - sorry to hear leg still bad :( ((((hugs))))

OMG my internet (or is it MSE) is slow tonight, I am really enjoying catching up on the goss but its painful!

I am chufed I paid my credit card bill today. I do manage to pay it most months but its such a faff, I always end up shuffling money around various accounts to cover it so have decided to take it out of my purse and just not use it. I am one of those people Martin always wags a finger at and says only take the xxx% cashback deal if you alway pay it off in full, and I end up being late, paying interest and ending up out of pocket even though I got the cashback. I'm fed up wasting an entire evening fiddling about trying to pay it so NO MORE CREDIT CARD FOR ME

    Evening everyone

Have only skim read the thread for today I'm afraid and haven't thanked -it would have taken ages! I promise I'll do better tomorrow. What I did pick up from my whizz through is

Pigpen and OJ - loved the pics
    Lil-me - happy birthday for DS1 tomorrow
Pigpen - sending more "I need real food" vibes across the channel...
    Welcome yet more New People

Re the unthanked posts. If you're all really concerned, you could always take out a random hotmail address, sign up using it and thank your alter-ego :rotfl::rotfl:

I've been busy today. Sorted out the freezer at long last this morning. Mucked out the car so that Nice Neighbour could get into it when I took her to Mr T's this afternoon to spend her vouchers. Did a big shop. Cooked dinner, washed my bedding and have put most of it back on the bed - just need to battle with the duvet cover now. Watched quite a bit of Poirot. Still need to catch up with the JC on iplayer. And there we are, another day done and dusted! Where does the time go?

Sleep tight ladies and gents and good night xx
