:rotfl: at lil_me ating toothpaste - doesnt it make you feel gross now then ?>
It took me ages to get back to the chips after she was born LOL
And I still cant wear a scarf righ up to my chin , it made me want to heave when I was pregnant and it has the same effect now LOL

OddJob thanks for the kind words, I had a couple of days there in the middle where I was just pathetic with indecision to back on them or try and get through it. Think I am coming out the other side now.I amk really glad to hear your OH is better off them , really encouraging to hear that :) I just found I have felt flat and no zest for life for over a year now, there has to be more , I was tired all the time, too tired to exercise or eat roperly, so very unfit etc etc. Anyway hopefully on the up now.

Hawthorn - they were amitriptyline. I was on 20mg (I think - well 2 weeny tablets) daily for ages. I went down to 10mg a day for ages. We had loads of Christmas dos the couple of weeks before Cristmas and I kept forgetting to take them. So I thought oh well lets just not bother starting again and see what happens. Its too late now and I am over the worst but yes it was a pretty silly thing to do, I realise that now. My poor family have allpaid the price of a very stressful holiday, my amazing husband has been fantastic and got up with the kids pretty much every day , let me lie in and catch up on the sleep, he has had me crying on his shoulder so much, not very Christmassy, but amazingly after a big late night on New Years Eve and a rotten hangover the next day, I still woke up feeling the best I had all holiday, I have turned the corner and it was a lovely start to the new year :)

Justamum - how are you managing now you are off them ? Managing well I hope. I know it wont be plain sailing but like I said to OJ above I really hope to feel at least more energised and start to get a little bit more healthily.

Thanks for all the support folks, I had forgotten how lovely you all are (well how lovely you can be when you try :p )

Fly Lady....a few years ago we were living on a street that had loads of students houses on it...most of the time they were really good..but one May there was a knock on the door at about 11pm ish some drunk students wanting to be let in..told them they had wrong house...30 min later same again..told them to pi55 of....

midnight..again they wanted to be let in and they got really nasty about it..told them where to go ever so nicely....10 min later thump thump thump on door.. I got very peeved by now so I grabbed my air-rifle ( very much looking like a real rifle)..tore open the door and shouted 5...4...3...2..

two ran away screaming...one just stood there frozen to the spot and peed himself the other threwhimslef behind my car saying over and over again IM SORRY IM SORRY....

Didn't get any more trouble that night

We live in an area with lots of students... we just beat their door down at 4am and threaten to paste their faces up the billboards if they don't shut the f*** up..

they get ever so apologetic when little 5ft3 me says ever so politely.. if you MUST sh@g at 5am at least have the decency to do it quietly because I don't care what ANYONE says noone is good enough that you need to make that much theatrical noise.. it is a bodily function and is achievable in silence.

Then there were the other lot whose house I threatened to burn down while they slept at 10am one day when they least expected it.

Oh... and the one who was asked if he wanted his guitar placing up his rear end and retuning!

Neighbours that are unpleasant do not live next door to us very long.
