i'm afraid i have spent all evening in front of the telly, and lost you all pages ago, but i did glimse a look at the weekend list and seems to suit me cause i text DSD earlier and she is being vague about what is happening tomorrow, so OH has decided that me, DD and himself are off to winter wonderland, then possibly the bear factory!!!
was in shock when he mentioned it as he came shopping and to the play centre with us today!!!!(party booked and paid for, hehehehe)
Hope you are all well, i may be able to keep up more when everything goes back to normal, next week......

She only said to have the weekend off so she can get on with her list thats all over the place so on monday she can be smug and say half her weeks list is done...its these double standards that do it you see

No, it really is a hit list, and I don't want to be on it - if she ever gets a gun............................

Fly Lady....a few years ago we were living on a street that had loads of students houses on it...most of the time they were really good..but one May there was a knock on the door at about 11pm ish some drunk students wanting to be let in..told them they had wrong house...30 min later same again..told them to pi55 of....

midnight..again they wanted to be let in and they got really nasty about it..told them where to go ever so nicely....10 min later thump thump thump on door.. I got very peeved by now so I grabbed my air-rifle ( very much looking like a real rifle)..tore open the door and shouted 5...4...3...2..

two ran away screaming...one just stood there frozen to the spot and peed himself the other threwhimslef behind my car saying over and over again IM SORRY IM SORRY....

Didn't get any more trouble that night

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Don't go going all 'American campus' on us will you! we need you here not languishing in some prison somewhere just to get out of the housework...

On that note, when we were living in 'hell on earth' a few years ago and hubby was working away, we were really having a lot of trouble with the local hoods (little twerps who thought they were hard) were throwing things at the house, breaking into our car, torturing the kids, basically making our lives hell, and I'm no pushover, but you can't defend when you're not there can you? - Hubby worked himself up so much that when he came home, he lost the plot a bit and went to one of his friends who has a shotgun and asked if he could borrow it, it was all going ahead until friend found out what he actually wanted it for (not going out to the woods with the local gun club then?!) and said no - so glad as he would def be locked up by now and there would be about 10 less little hoods around where we used to live... They really don't know how they affect peoples lives do they?

He went round one of their houses with a hammer instead  .... luckily we had calmed him down a bit by then and there were 4 of us there to contain him... (didn't know he had the hammer until after though - he's a bit like a boy scout - always prepared...)

ETA: Mmmm, maybe TMI - you might all think we're a bit mad after this... :rotfl: Maybe another reason for you not to take me up on my offer Greenbee...

LOL... Now.. all 'american campus' sounds like a fab idea.. I may need to polish up my aim

Reminds me of last Halloween when OH kept answering the door with his chainsaw in his hands shouting RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR. I managed to persuade him not to turn it on - hate to think what the neighbours would have said, I was trying to impress them with my H/M bat biscuits!

. I'm not going to risk watching without a licence after that because I can guarantee that they will send someone round just to check :rotfl:

Justamum - be prepared for the hard grill from the TV licensing people! They will be round. They will be demanding entry. They will be saying you are watching TV (even when you're not!). Can you get rid of your TV and do the other stuff through PCs etc? The fact you have a TV in your house will say to them that you are actually using it to watch stuff you're not licenced for..
