Been looking at the Sony NASE35 HD which is available for about £203 online.
Holds 15,000 tracks and looks a nice piece of kit.
However, not really found anything comparable that may be an alternative.....
Any ideas or recommendations appreciated.

Friends just bought one of these - sounds good and works well, though I wonder whether the display (3 lines of text) is a bit limited if you like to search for individual tracks.0

It can also play from USB, thought the port is front mounted and not something I personally would want to have permanently connected, or from a CD with MP3 files on.
It does not have a LAN connection. I am told that some other models\manufacturers do offer wired or wireless LAN connections.
As an alternative, I prefer having a small PC and a separate amplifier and speakers. More expensive, but also much nicer to use when you can see all my music arranged on the TV.0
