Ignore him, he's clearly just a self righteous !!!!!!.

Just sent a SAR to Barclaycard with the correct name/address that they will have on file, and they should be able to send your info - you are requesting any information they have on file relating to YOU, not a specific account. This information will include the account number.
  • Ok im sorry.

As above, write to Barclaycard and ask them for your info etc etc.

I just object to people like you asking for refunds of charges youve incurred, i know theres a recession and all but surely you cant be that desperate for money:confused:

    Good luck in your quest.

I managed to claim back £000's of charges a few years ago. I was director of a company that failed and in the final few months took no salary as we were trying to salvage it. Each month my bank / credit card companies etc. took several hundred pounds from me in late payment / over limit charges, despite being aware of my situation - this is clearly exploiting people at their most vulnerable. I think it's only right people have been able to claim these back, as this behaviour puts a lot of additional stress on people having financial difficulties. I resent anybody resenting me getting that cash back.

Obviously some people were just sloppy and lazy and see claiming back charges as free money, but that's another story...

And in the case of an account that has been closed for over 3 years there is no way that the OP could fall into that category is there? :rotfl:
  • in the last 8 months i've claimed back over 2000 pounds in charges..

Better in my pocket than the credit cards...

  • Over the last 2/3 years i have had many finacial difficulties leading me to late loan repayments and going overdrawn.
I was being charged horrendously for these actions, is there any way i could reclaim these charges as I believe they are wrong and took advantage of me in my worst situation.

    Thanks!
