sell the old box on ebay with a power lead, depending on the model, £10-£40Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

It's value depends much on the make and model of your old Sky Receiver, some models will make better money than others.

Run a cable from the dish lnb input to the back of the old sky box and you will receive all the free channels at no cost in a separate room. Use your original cable if he used new cable for the Sky+0

have a look at you sky where the wire goes in, if there is a spare connection just connect the wire in the old box to it and connect to the box if not you will have to change to twin lnb (just means 2 wires can be connected instead of 1).
look up fitting a twin lnb
They will already have a quad lnb as they had Sky+ fitted.0 -
Ignore my deleted reply (im an idiot!), I was thinking of the tv link I have connected to my main sky box as well. Just connect the wire to box and off you go!0
