Hi
I have windows xp, running AVG free, Zone alarm and spybot.
My AVG test results show
Object result status
c:\WINDOWS\system32\user32.dll Change Changed
c:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll Change Changed
c:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe Change Changed
All others show as okay
When i select filter by virus's or warnings only these results are the only ones that remain on screen.
However when i check overall test results it shows no virus's found
Can anyone explain what changed means and advise if i have/could have a virus
TIA

Thats because Windows has updated after the last AVG scan so its saying that
some parts of the OS has changed since last scan, nowt to worry about.0 -
One thing that did surprise me about AVG free edition is that, when my 'puter caught a virus, the AVG found it during a routine scan but did not immediately alert me (e.g. with a pop-up), which I assumed it would. When it just quietly closed when it was finished as usual, I thought it was fine and didn't actually realise it had found a virus until the following day.0

Sounds like you have it on automatic repair. Check in the settings and change to notify if this is a problem.
