  • is there anything wrong wit hyour 206, just out of interest really?
  • Not at all - don't mind you asking

There is nothing wrong with the good old 206 just that we got another baby on the way due 5th Feb 09. Already got a 17month old boy, a 13 year old daughter and the Mrs.

Had the 206 for the past 6 years and apart from a one big one-off repair bill (£350) it has been brillant. And that was entirely my own fault as I forgot to close the oil cap and it split all over the engine and knackered the alternator amongst others:D

Although I will be sad to lose the 206 (approx 140K miles, 2000 reg) we do really need a bigger car for the two child seats, a stroller, a pushchair, the weekly shopping , two adults, and a teenage daughter.

The Mondeo seems to fit the bill - don't really fancy the people's carrier cars
  • cool

i have a 406 hdi and it has developed its first fault, needs a new clutch! However it had super high miles on it, so i dont mind
  • I know pegueot mostly don't get good reviews but mine has been great. Bought it april 2002 with 40K on the clock for £5.5k at a BCA auction and I have been nothing but terrible to the car yet it served me very well indeed.

Believe this not not - I only had one full services ever and that was just couple of months ago - before that I never had an oil change let a lone a service of any sort.

Hope the Mondeo serves me just as well although I intend to be lot kinder to it this time round:rotfl:
  • Ghia is higher than the Zetec.

Ghia X or Titanium X are rather nice.
