Can you use 18185 and 1280 on Sky Talk (calls only version)?

I'm confused about using 18185 and Sky Talk. I've moving broadband from Virgin to Sky and need to decide about Sky Talk. Can someone please confirm whether I will still be able to use 18185 if I keep my line rental with BT and use Sky Talk as the provider? Sky have offered 6 months line rental for £5 but from what I've read I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to use 18185 if I did that.

    Many thanks

    Line rental - BT.
Default calls provider (WCLI) - Sky Talk Unlimited.
    Indirect access providers - 18185, 1899 & 18866.

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Thanks Heinz. I now need to decide whether I will save in the long run with Sky's cheaper line rental or to keep BT to save with 18185. Do you know if Sky would waive the £30 activation fee for broadband?
