They charge you the full amount first and then they apply the discount upto 2 weeks after you made the order which will be refunded to your card or the account you have with them.0 -

Hi, we took up the offer above - just got statement to find no deductions. Made telephone call to customer services and quote discount code. Customer services going to put credit on my account.0

One thing to remember, if phoning customer services, they are well clued up on who's using the code, if its first order or not. Cuz a lot of times it does'nt show on statement, so one needs to phone customer services, but if you were'nt entitled they wont give it. But the good thing about them, they always refund delivery if items are sent back.0

is this for new customers only?0

Its for new customers only...according to the flyer I got today!
When I put sale items into my basket and used the code, it wouldnt take the discount off, but when I put a full priced item in, it took it off.
My flyer says its for orders of £10 or more, but nothing on it to say it cant be used on sale items, strange as on the flyer it gives the addy lxdirect.com/offer, and takes you straight to the sale pages! But it wont let me have the discount on the stuff i want!(Ive scoured the small print/t&c thoroughly!)
Anyone else getting this problem??? (on sale stuff) :STatts :hello: :kisses2:0 -
I used the code posted on this link earlier this week:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=140893
I used it on an item in the for sale section - Slow cooker reduced from £24.99 to £19.99.
The refund showed up on my account before they took the money out - only just, but it appeared before.

i had the same experience. the code appeared valid, adjusting my order to £0 however, after the transaction, and on the statement, it has charged me to the full amount. i have promptly emailed the company with my order number and code so hopefully this can be amended before delivery and payment from my account. i should receive a reply in 24 hours so i'll let you know what develops... :rolleyes:Thomas Jefferson: "When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on."
