Changing train tickets?

Hi

I have some "Off-Peak" train tickets that I bought online a while back, as I wanted to travel somewhere on 30th December. However I now think I might have to wait until the 31st December.

I read somewhere that you can only use the outward portion of these tickets on the date specified on the ticket, although you have a month to use the return portion.

The fare would be the same regardless of the date I travelled so does anyone know if it's possible to have them changed for the 31st December instead of the 30th? Could they do it at a station or would I need to contact the online people - Trainline I think. Would it cost?

thanks :o

AFAIK you can do it at the station - but don't wait until the 31st to do it. You have to do it before the original outward journey.

    There is a £10 fee.
