Seems to be around the rates others are offering.
Bit sneaky of them to try and bury this news in the xmas holidays. Doubtless they'll email us in a month or 2...0 -
The regular saver has only been reduced by 0.5% to 4.25% gross. Could have been worse I suppose - only it will take a long time to build up again now I've withdrawn most of it!0

Do people think they will be dropping their fixed rate e-book in the near furniture? I have money maturing elsewhere on 17th Jan!0

Bradc I have money maturing with B & B on that date and have to invest it in dollars so I feel for you! On the one hand we are getting interest at the old rate, on the other hand we are desperate to get our money reinvested with some sort of return!0

I just opened one late yesterday, but didn't have money available to invest right now so took a chance on being able to transfer some from elsewhere before it closes. It doesn't even show online yet - it showed as a pending account after I opened it yesterday that would be available to view today. Umm think I might have missed out, don't think I'll get money across in time.

Oh dear! Mine doesn't mature yet so was hoping it would last just a wee while longer!0 -
If you have missed out on the YBS E-Bond the Barnsley Fixed Rate Investment Bond appears to be still available. The interest rate and term are similar to the YBS E-Bond and the Barnsley BS is being taken-over by YBS. You cannot add to your initial deposit and I doubt the product will be available that long.0

Thanks. I did see that however as I said my money does not mature until 17th and in these financial times this is a long time. Oh well, will have to see what happens at next BoE interest rate decision.0
