I don't think she's had a bad dream because I don't think she's actually been to sleep. I've tried leaving her to cry herself to sleep but she just gets more and more upset, and then Ryan gets upset and starts shouting. Grrrrr.

I'm now lying on my bed (her cot is at the foot of it) and she's fine, still sniffling a bit but settling down nicely. But I don't really want to start going to bed at 7am lol.

She's always had fantastic sleep habits but the last few weeks she's been getting gradually worse. She also used to like coming for a cuddle with me when she woke up in a morning but recently she's been waking up earlier and earlier crying to come into my bed (which I'm resisting, but it's really hard when you're an insomniac and don't get to sleep till late and then you're woken up at 5am). :o

is it when she just comes back from her dad's Snaggs? My DS used to get upset the first night back but it was easier to talk to him as he was older. He did get over it eventually!

Snaggles I was quite relaxed with both my kids when they were little. DD used to fall asleep in bed with me when she was little, and then I'd put her into her own bed asleep.

DS was more difficult, because like you, I then had an older one who needed a routine for school etc. To be honest, I let him sleep with me quite a lot, just because it was easier for us all. DH was on nights so it would've always been me getting up.

Most people will probably say I was wrong, but it worked for me. They both now sleep well, in their own beds, in the dark.

Both of mine go to sleep with story CDs, I think we've talked about this before ;)

Skinty, DS is rubbish, but then he has very little co-ordination or balance anyway. DH said I was barmy buying them for him

DD is doing OK ish. We looked on the Heelys website and watched the hints video on there, and also looked on youtube ;)

we had a giggle spud - went down the prom yesterday - but a girl got out of a car and sort of winked at DS and flew off on hers. DS was miffed to say the least! Didn't think about the Heelys website but will get him to look on there thanks!

No, they haven't been there this weekend, although I have been wondering if that could be something to do with it. Maybe she's feeling a bit insecure and wants to check I haven't left her too? :(

She's settled now (I just stayed in the room with her but didn't pay her any attention) so hopefully I will get some peace.....and at least I've worked my vodka and tonic off running up and down the stairs! :D

    Thanks guys x
