DH won't feel left out now;) ..at least there are other men that have tried these things out ( did take a [strike]alot[/strike] bit of arm [strike]forcing[/strike] twisting esp after I told him that it felt as if I had stinging nettles rubbed over my lips:p )

Our's is the plain brown one that doesn't have any colour to it.. so that probably helped with them feeling "comfortable with exploring their more feminine side.. " It was kind of like those times when you say "man this stinks (or tastes bad) here you smell it (or taste it)" I am not sure why but we all do it don't we? So first one took the tingle.. and they just all wanted to have it after that.. and then of course seme how the conversation ends up in the gutter! But that is expected when you work with men at the airport!!

you know all you guys just make me laugh! I have really enjoyed this forum!

Ah what a shame, thought I had discovered a nice cheap way of getting those blueys. Just looked online for the S & G sets but only coming up as gwp.

What i did yesterday was i bought all the household things like toothpaste which was BOGOF at £1.39 and tissues which was BOGOF at 1.69 and a pack of nail files 99p and a pacl of toilet wipes £1 or thereabouts and i got a blue No 7 voucher. Then i did the same sort of thing and got 2 x half price deodorants and BOGOF handwash and some Sanitary towels and that was another £5 spent and i got another No7 voucher....then much to my daughters annoyance/embarrassment i went and did another £5 shop and got another no7 voucher :D

When you think of all the 'essential' toiletries you need for the household it really isn't hard to sepnd a fiver and when they are BOGOF you are actually saving money in the long run!

I am confused Jax, are you saying that you think this may / may not work.
If so, I would buy 2 gift cards at one till, then get the phone top ups, to get double the amount of blueys. :)

    Soz about that reply

I actually asked then answered my own question.

No, i don't think you would get a bluey with a gift card... you aren't 'spending' money. It becomes a transfer of money when you 'buy' a good.

i forgot to mention that yesterday i treated myself to some half price Ted Baker miniatures from Boots and i love them. Technically i didn't pay for them as i was given £20 to buy my something. I was going to put them up for my DD for her birthday but decided to keep them myself. Don't know if anyone of you bought the set in the sale, they are in a cute little pink box. You'd have to like floral smells to enjoy wearing these fragrances and i was always thinking i was into musky scents but i really like the smell of these and was very pleasantly surprised so i just thought i'd mention it here. They were originally £15 i think and that made them £7.50 for 4 miniatures.

I bought those with points in the sale, haven't opened them yet, as I got loads of other perfume sets in the sale. (will probably take me a year or so to use them all lol!) I like the Ted Baker shower gels, so I hoped the mini fragrances would be nice, glad they are. :)

Think this only applies for those who have these stored in their favourites but I was playing about with these on .com and wanted to see if i bought 3 @ 4.89 whether it would give me another as part of the "Spend £12 and get GWP" however 3 of them went in the basket for a total of £9.78  equivalent to the previous offer in store on these at 3 4 2. Playing around abit more and added a further 3 to basket and total now shows at £14.67 making them at around £2.45 each :T dont know if this is a glitch but I'm really pleased as I didnt manage to get these on the 3 4 2 and had it saved in favourites in hope of the 3 4 2 becoming availiable online and now heres an even better offer!!!:j

Can you put a link to the item and see if we can access it thast way-earlier someone did this with the old Mens No7 GWP and it worked but earlier when I tried to search for it I couldn't find it! Might work if you are able to post the direct llink after you have gone in on it!!!

    Thanks!

Me thinks I will be stocking up on essentials too ;)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

    Yes, katholicos, much easier!
I've just spent 1/2 hour trying to get my head around top-ups, gift cards and blueys - I gave up!
I got a bluey yesterday on when I stocked up on reduced toothbrushes (61p) and reduced mouthwash (63p) :j will go and see if there any more tomorrow, then we will be sorted for year, :D (my shiny clean-toothy grin !)

Never mind jax. It would have been a good way of doing it. I do need to get some toothpaste, handwash etc, which is what kathlicos (is your forum name greek by any chance?) has done/ suggested very kindly. I also have some stuff to take back for a refund, plus get the phone top ups. Failing that there is always Mimi's wombling suggestion. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Thanks Angie.
You see, because I give soooo much toiletries and make up to friends and family, they think i must have knowledge on these products. That's defo not the case:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: i only acquire them..don't know anything about them ( thanks to all aboard the boots ship)
So, i've been asked to purchase a goooood lip plumper - when on an uber glitch- usually this person uses pout lip plumper. So something similar to this would be great...any ideas?

    Thanks

    xx

    Hi

I have never used Pout so not sure of a comparible product tbh but I just did a test with two faced on one side of my lips and sally hanson lip plumper on the other side. The two faced plumper stings like mad but I think it probably has the best result (no pain no gain!!!). The other thing I like about it is that it doesn't have any sweet sickly smell, not much smell at all really. Sally Hanson feels quite minty and didn't really sting and for the price is really quite good.
