  • Went Bootsing to Donegall Place in Belfast today:

There was not one S & G set to be found in the whole place, and I looked very hard on all 3 floors!
They have a lot of the No 7 Makeup/vanity case that was ootw a few weeks ago.
Fair amount of perfume sets, R & M sets, Charles Worthington tins, JF sets, didn't see any Sanctuary sets that i remember.
I did have a look on the first floor as they have put a few things up there, and was wondering if thats where all the S & G sets where hiding but it was not to be.
There are still a good lot of No7 giftsets but not the full range.
I saw a few Elle sets but not a lot.

Thats all I can think of at the min, I'll edit this if I think of more!

I decided to take advantage of the last day of the JK points and got 6 files. Cost £2.94 each and ended up with an extra 2250 points, which then got me the Armani Code set :)

Hello folks. As the end of the year is fast approaching anyone care to reflect on what their best bargain/freebie/glitch of the year has been?

    ...

There have been some fab ones! I'd have to say the best were the ones with the two baby expert vouchers with different barcodes when the expert items were 2 for 3 pounds, and you ended up getting all of them free plus money off your other shopping! That one was bit risky, though, lol.

Then there was the one where men's no7 was 342 and there was a gwp, and using a pinky, tillspit and the 1/2 off men's no7 mailing voucher, it all came out to being free!

And then the fabby pinky, till spit combo with the 342 xmas gifts, and if you threw in a r&M mirror, you could use them and got 10 quid off the gifts, making them free or very cheap. Good times, lol.
  • lucky you hope i have the same luck lol

still waiting fr dispatch of 2nd order stay calm theres plenty of time yet x

At least the 1st lot had something in the boxes. So we should be feeling a bit more optimistic than we were.:) Even if we do get a dispatch email...our items will probably spend a while relaxing at "the spa"' before we get them.
  • Haven't posted on the thread for ages, but I have been keeping up (well trying to). I visited 3 different boots and was never given any of the haircare vouchers :( The stores had the signs up but when I asked they said they hadnt any. My receipts didnt even have the "paper earn uk" on them.
paper earn uk seems to have disapeared off the receipts this time, I had to remind the SA each time, but they stopped giving them out about 1 1/2 weeks ago now, never mind roll on tomorrow and possible pinkies!

I do most of my orders on .com.

I never recieve a dispatch email. They always arrive earlier than the date said when ordering and the payment (when paying by card) is never taken before i recieve the order its always the day after.

Might be imagining it but on the old thread was there a mention of girard sets? Are they any good? I received one for my christmas and tbh as it was a pale peach old fashioned looking set i assumed it was a cheapy set untill i seen it in boots for £17 odd today?

The SA said i could exchange it but then said they had just been reduced to £6 so thats all i would get back?
If you don't have a receipt they will only allow you an exchange for the current price. They won't even let you have a gift card or credit note, so if you do want to return somthing without a receipt it's probably best to be prepared and have some items in mind.
I wasn't prepared today (another faulty No.7 mirror) I wanted an exchange, they were oos, they wanted me to find somthing else, But I remembered Martin (S.A.D. F.A.R.T.!) and stood my ground, it's faulty, I want my money back (stamp feet!) They eventually gave me a gift card. So I'm happy!
